By the way Dan is storming the slopes. Today we went schlozzing together at Le Tour in a total white out + z-r-o-o-o-O-O-o-m, there he goes speeding past me at uncatchable speeds. "Slow + steady, Smith" I had to remind myself, when fleeting moments of competition flooded my mind "Save the knee, Smith" I'd reiterate when initial rational thoughts had bypassed. We had a great time criss-crossing between Le Tour + Vallorcine, then back again, then once more. Then we remembered it was happy hour at The Monkey Bar in town, so not before long we'd scooped up an Emma + ventured into the big bad town to see what we could find, on this, yet another day off h o o r a y ! We were spoilt with some ace live music and it was at that point we realised that it'd been m o n t h s since we'd heard any of the live stuff; back in the day in trusty old Manchester we were so fortunate to be immersed in instruments as a result of being lucky enough to spend so much time with amazing musicians. Of course! We were thirsty for it. After scooping up a Robbie and hanging out in mega ace Vagabond bar to chat about everything under the sun , we decided to get naughty + head to explore the depths of the very same empty chalet we'd found peace within only days before. Despite the fact that there were disturbing smells coming from the bubbles exploding out of the hot tub, we still stayed in there for at least four hours until even our limbs had pruned, gabbering + slabbering about beneath the stars + attempting to decipher the decisions we'd made in our lives that led to the four of us to culminate in this beautiful scenario of splashing-splurging-gurgling-great moments. A surreally spectacular night to remember, but I wonder if it is all as hazy as the great mist that was rising above us throughout our late night plunge. At least I managed to get one snap.
