brrrrrrr! not so laughing Buddha!

Well our first winter snow fell so we awoke to the beauty of fresh crisp snow. I love it (for a while) so bounced out of bed wanting to go play.

I was spoilt for choice over photos but this one amused me so much my poor laughing buddha almost buried and the laugh looking like more of a grimace!

We are really lucky we have a natural park and lakes just down the road so we set out to walk and play. I think the whole village had the same idea, it was like a community gathering and was wonderful to see the kids laughing and having fun. We built our snowman walked and watched the birds, we had two cheeky robins all fluffed up so they looked like big powderpuffs.

We even got a little song!
