Maori Warriors

The Bossess often goes of early in the morning to catch a plane over the hill in Queenstown and hence to other places. This morning we had a change of plan and The Boss took The Bossess AND I went too!
I thought that I was headed to my holiday camp but after dropping off The Bossess, The Boss jumped out of the car, shot over to the Terminal building and got this photo and shot back all without the free parking slip running out. Then we drove PAST the holiday camp (this caused panic) and went to meet all the other walkers in Old Cromwell Town for a walk and a cold Ginger Beer at the pub after. I sat under the table and was VERY GOOD but I didn't get any Ginger Beer.
The Maori Warriors at Queenstown Airport are quite famous and were made by a local artist. They stand right by the main entrance and The Boss says the G12 is great because you don't have to look a complete burke by lying on the ground with a camera just use the tilting view screen. (whatever all that means)
For the overseas folk Queenstown is the No 1 tourist attraction in N.Z. Us folk in Wanaka try to avoid it if at all possible cos it is usually packed to the rafters and there are not many dogs.
