Viennese whirls

Today I give you Viennese Whirls, courtesy of The Hairy Bikers. They have turned out extremely well and, considering I don't consider myself to be a good piper, they have turned out ok. I thought that they may be a little sweeter, but the sweetness of the buttercream and jam filling works well against the lack of sweet in the biscuits.
When I make these next time (and I will be making them again) I will pipe them a little smaller. The recipe says to use a 2.5 inch circle, but this makes for a hefty biscuit.
All in all a successful recipe. X
