A cold day in Hexham

This toddler was trotting about the main shopping street in Hexham this afternoon. He went up to people and was clearly interested in all that was going on. It was natural, therefore, for him to come and see my camera and to have his photo taken.

I showed the image to his Mum and then they were off before I could say "Blip" to them!!

We had our Festival committee this morning and finalised the list of volunteers who will be leading and backing up walks. Of the 50+ who were asked, 45 are taking part. This means only 2 or 3 walks each and we can go on the others without having to be in charge. We were thrilled that so many people want to help and think it is a sign that we are getting something right!
