Fun and Games

Busy day today. Got up sharp to phone the dentist for an emergency appointment as I broke my tooth on Saturday night. I feared the worst, but the dentist said it's not lost and he would do a temporary filling just now and do further treatment after the baby is born (can't do x-rays whilst pregnant).

It was freezing fog today and as I was scraping my car to go to the dentist, I slipped on the path and fell on my back/tailbone. I appear to have got off lightly as I wasn't too sore, and the baby has been punching and kicking me all day so not too worried about that.

After the dentist, we took H to swimming. As I don't have an appropriate swimsuit to wear at this size, I spectated, whilst H and hubby had fun in the pool. She was much braver this week and was off walking and splashing on her own, although she doesn't want to float at all, preferring to keep both feet on the ground.

Afterwards, we were starving, so went to McDs for a cheeky lunch (Old McDonalds had a farm as H calls it - really mustn't make a habit of this), then dropped my car at the garage to get the alternator fixed. Then off to Livingston shopping for a couple of hours.

Whilst I was making dinner, H's Daddy gave her a bath and she loved her new sticky letters (much better and less messy than the bath crayons I bought her last week!) Her Papa popped round after dinner so bedtime was delayed again!! But she had great fun running and jumping around with him so fingers crossed for a long lie tomorrow :-)
