A Pair of Ginger Nuts

Another lazy day - partly due to colds, partly due to the miserable weather we have had since last week, and partly due to the football on TV today. After H's mammoth long lie yesterday, she got me up at 5.30am and after an hour trying to get her to go back to sleep, I gave in and got up for the day :-(

First up was Rangers v Celtic. I often joke that H looks like Neil Lennon's lovechild as they have the same ginger hair and we don't know where H gets it from. Luckily, she very much looks like her Daddy apart from the hair! And as Neil has shaved his, H actually has more hair than someone for a change! It was a really good game of football and Celtic did really well to come back with 10 men, and draw 2-2 for a replay.

After the Old Firm clash, it was Chelsea v Liverpool. H's Papa came up to watch it too and it was Torres' first game for Chelsea against his old club. I didn't get to see much of it as I was making Moussaka for dinner. That's the last time I make that - far too much time and effort for an ok dish. And far too many pots used and needing washed!

H's development today is saying "ah-voo" which is "love you" (she has been doing this for a while, but I wasn't 100% sure that I wasn't imagining it) and "ah-dan" which means "all done" when she has had enough dinner. She is also running everywhere, and climbing up on things. After her illness last weekend, she really has had a great week.

I am gutted that it's back to work tomorrow. 2 day weekends don't suit me!
