Mall Skating

I haven't seen one of these in years. A mall ice-skate rink. As our temperatures have been up to 36*C/97*F this week, there was understandably a layer of water on top of the ice, even in the air conditioned mall.

A couple of teenagers were whacking a hockey puck back and forth, spraying water with each hit. And a couple of dads skated with their little ones, trying to help them balance. The friend I was with said she had never skated before...hmmm...that might be something we need to try out sometime. :)
