Birthday Smiles

A bunch of us from the dorm enjoyed dinner at the market together for P & W's birthday. Smiles spread on their faces as someone came from around the corner with lit candles in a cake. We sang Happy Birthday (in English because that's how everyone does it here) then proceeded to watch the girls try to blow out the candles. Their smiles turned to laughter when the candles kept relighting themselves. (Trick candles always make things more interesting!)

The cake came from the night market. It was very light and spongy with raisins dotted on top. We had three flavors, strawberry, coffee, and coconut. You can also get pumpkin, taro, or a green mystery flavored cake from the same vendor.
