Lunchtime
This Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo, was sitting in a cedar tree quietly (thank goodness, because they do make a racket!) munching on the little cones. Apart from looking up as I approached, it continued to munch happily away. Beneath the tree, the walkway was littered with half-eaten cones... presumably all the seeds had been consumed.
Today I went out to Braeside Park. It's lovely out there but could do with some more water. There were plenty of birds to see and I was lucky enough to spot some ones that I hadn't seen before, as well as old favourites. The blip of the Kookaburra wasn't good enough to put here. It was too far away. And the Superb Fairy Wrens wouldn't stay in the open for long enough. But I'm happy with this cocky blip.
Another weekend has bitten the dust. I hope you all had a good one. I've back-blipped from last Thursday (can't get the link to work), if you're interested.
Have a good week everyone.
