Reflections #10
Back on track! Still doing 12!
It was a difficult decision today, not because I liked all the pictures I took and couldn't decide, but because I didn't like any of the pictures I took, but I had to choose one to blip!
Yesterday the cake was a success. My friends from the whisky blog were very happy with it and the guests loved it. There was someone that even came up to me and asked me: 'Have you made this cake?' and then he said: 'This is probably one of the best cakes I've ever tried in my life!' So, there you go! I was very pleased! My friend even came to work today to give me a bottle of wine as a thank you gift! :)
Didn't stay long at the anniversary though, because I was rather tired.
Work was fairly quiet today, apart from a bunch of fifty French kids on tour. The weather was really good in Edinburgh. It just surprises me that everywhere else in the UK there's snow and freezing temperatures. We seem to have a microclimate in here! Not complaining!
We had a tasting of grain whisky at work today: North British and Port Dundas. I quite liked them!
Not much more happening.
Thanks a lot for all your nice comments on my cake! Next cake on order is a heart shaped chocolate cake for Valentine's day for a friend of mine. I'll make sure you see it! I hope you all had a great day! :)
