Life through the lens...

Slip sliding away!

Well we decided to do the walk today after all.
Only 9 of us turned up. Think the weather put many of them off.
Max temp 2c. but it didn't feel cold.
A bit difficult walking in places where the snow had melted and the freezing temperatures last night had made it very icy.
Slipping and sliding in places but we all managed to stay upright!

It was a 7 mile walk round the Harewood Estate. Not good for taking photographs as it was quite misty, and after about half an hour started drizzling a bit. Would have liked a shot of the house in the distance but too misty.Took some photos of the deer but they were too far away in the mist too.
This was the best shot of the day ( which I have brightened a bit).

Inspite of the weather we enjoyed the walk. Good to get out in the fresh air, walk through nice scenery, even if no views, and meet up with friends.

Raining at the moment, if it freezes tonight the roads will be treacherous.
Off to make tea.Something nice and warming, Shepherds pie and braised red cabbage.

Take care everyone. Watch out for the ice!
