Baking

The smell of fresh baked bread in the house brought back lots of memories last night. It is a smell that as a child I associated with my Mum and my maternal Grandmother. I don't think I ate shop bought bread until I was about 10.
Last night I used a bread maker we obtained from 'Granado' and made a 750g white loaf as per the instructions. Joshua has been in the starting blocks all day waiting for a slice, he loves crusty bread as much, if not more, than my Dad.
Next time it will be on the timer so as to have lovely warm fresh bread for breakfast on a Saturday morning, cannot wait.
