Meeting Royalty

Or did Royalty meet me????
What an occassion!
When I was invited to attend the visit of HRH Prince Edward at work, I thought there would be hundreds of people and I wouldn't see anything.
How wrong I was. The room only holds about 100 people and there were around 70 of us invited.
His Royal Highness was relaxed, chatty, funny and seemed to genuinely enjoy himself.
He made a very funny speech as he unveiled a plaque (OK, it might be the same speech he gives for every plaque but it's the only time I'll ever hear it so it's good enough for me)
The highlight had to be when The College Principal guided him straight towards me! I thought it might not be quite the done thing to take his photo as he stood 3 feet from me, so I got this one from a little further away.
Wonder if I'll get to meet his sister (HRH The Princess Royal) at the Olympics?
