Busy, but Rich day!

First of all there were blue skies and sunshine...always a good way to start a day!!!

Into the studio...i'm into the swing of things over there now and not only in the production sector of my work! I spent the morning exploring new forms for teapots!!! There is a series of books published in the States....the 500 Series.... 500 Vases, 500 cups, 500 bowls etc....there is a call for submissions for the newest one....500 Teapots! so, with that in mind i'm setting about creating some new and very different teapots. i love make teapots, they take a lot of time, but they are complicated and need some detailed attention. Couple that with my recent experience of watching a whirling dervish woman on stage..... the desire to use that form as the basis for a teapot is in full swing!!! i'm gonna start making them on the weekend.

Then off to our Winter Salon, and some wonderful discussion about stories and their place in life. Drove up with my new friend Charlotte.....on the way home, sun still shining, blue skies above....the car started sounding really bad!!! Fast forward 45 minutes - Terry arrived and we dropped the car off at the wonderful Joey the machanic's place! Then home, and just walked in the door to a phone call from one of my twin daughters who is having one of the biggish life decisions to make...Mom, what should i do!!! half an hour later, coat off, wine cup in hand....and a few quiet moments with blip!

Yes, a full and rich day! now for supper and a relaxing time with my man and the telly!!!
