WHAT IS IT!

This might not fall totally into the 'What is it' challenge, but nevertheless, i put it out there for you to figure out what this is!!! I want specifics, not just 'a seed pod'.....oh dear i guess i gave a bit of it away.....so what kind of seed pod is this???

I've been in a definite grump of a mood today....i can only stay 'present to what is' for so long before i start to desperately need something that it isn't....warm, sunny....green grass, fertile earth to plant things in.....i had to shovel more snow today...first to be able to get to the wood pile outside the studio....then another path to the poor chickens home....at least i know they can sort of survive a few days peeking at the snow they can reach through the little hatch in the house!!!

And then, i headed over to the Chalet, to prepare it for guest who will arrive tomorrow.....it was only 3 degrees in their, so i hastily made the bed and nothing else! Terry will have to finish it tomorrow cos i'm taking a day away!

I have to say things did brighten up when i confessed my grumpiness to Terry and bless his heart, all he did was smile and hug me.....ahhhh....it was exactly what i needed! then back to a nice warm studio and a bit of cleaning of the greenware! We're planning to do the first firing in the new kiln this weekend. It really is complicated to try and understand how this computer thing works.....i can't just thro a switch here and there....everything has to be programmed!!! i also wasn't in the mood to try and understand such technicalities!
