We yomped to the top of the ridge today in brilliant sunshine with a vicious wind. I had a friend who used to say it was a lazy wind - one that went through instead of round you.

When we reached the top we were grateful for a few minutes out of the freezing gale in this capitelle. It's a dry stone shelter - no cement, mud or glue. Here's the inside as blipped by Ali.

On days like this you can see exactly why old goatherds might have built them.
