Redwing.

Today has been a magnificent day.

We went out early and the combination of sun, blue sky and minus degrees created stunning conditions for photography.
It almost sounds as though I know what I'm doing :-/
Anyway, we both managed some stunning shots :-)

Entirely apart from creativity, we entertained ourselves with that 'flask in a rucksack' thing!
It tickles us (we're simple souls) because at no point were we further than a few miles from home and a 'nice warm'* pot of tea at our own fireaside!

I could have given you a great crested grebe.... Decisions, decisions.
But we must be happy with what we have.

*My dear departed Grandmother couldn't mention tea without this prefix. It would have been her birthday today. Gone but loved and never forgotten.
