According to Brenda (our new and whizzy Christmas present thermometer) it is not as cold as it was yesterday.

We beg to differ. We're both perished!
I expect the forecasters would explain this as being the result of some Siberian Blue Moon Chill Factor, making it feel colder than it really is?

Another fun Christmas gift was 'The New Uxbridge English Dictionary'.
I looked up 'receptacle'.
This is described as, 'a playful tease from the lady on the front desk'.
I love it! :-)
