River through Time
Noticed how the light was good as I was approaching the bridge amd managed to get the camera activated in time to momentarily stop and snap a couple of frames.
The mighty Buttahatchee River (tongue planted firmly in cheek on the 'mighty' part of that statement), flowing through northwest Alabama before entering Mississipi and eventually merging with the Tombigbee River.
I spent countless hours of my youth in these waters just a few miles downstream from this bridge. Floating, fishing, wading, stirring trouble with a .22 rifle. It was the life country songs are written about... and I miss it...
