Something in me is different. I think I finally have made some substantial steps forward. I'm not busting out in tears at a fond memory of you. I'm trying to lay it in the grave, allowing what was to be exactly that-what was. It was beautiful and real and love. I am choosing not to pervert the truth of the past with the demons of my present.

Anyway, Rachel and I grabbed dinner before going on our typical homework date.

I ended the night by doing research for my article, which just continued to break my heart... Again, I had a hard time sleeping knowing genocide is happening to my Syrian brothers and sisters...
