Horsing Around

Had to get out today, as I have been more or less stuck indoors since our return.Can't believe that is over a week ago.Hope you all managed to catch up with my back Blips.
Went on a little mystery tour in the car and ended up at Whitworth Hall.Unfortunatley, the gates were closed to the public.There were lots of trees being cut down, so I presume that is the reason for the closure.The fishermen with private rights were perched round the lake, (think they were maybe carping??)their lines through holes in the ice - mad or what!!
Opted for this old gal, as I think someone had just given her some laughing gas.Doesn't look as if she uses Colgate does it !! She and her foal were in a field by the roadside and were having to lean over the barbed wire to get to the hay.Hubby tried helping out by hand feeding them but ma here was very selective about what she ate and kept grabbing at his hand - obviously much tastier than dried grass.Poor things were almost knee deep in mud and looked as if they needed a good bath.
