A day at the Botanical Garden @UNAM
Yes, this is definetely one of the most precious botanical gardens I've ever visited, and not only the garden itself was great, but also the festival that took place there today with lots of concerts, cultural activities, expositions, and lots of great food :-)
Living in a city with an estimate of about 30 mio. inhabitants one gets to appreciate places like this one a whole lot more.
Also I have a feeling that I will be one of the most persons ever by the time I come back, because the keyword for not dieing of stress in Mexico is PATIENCE. For example:
Friday I spent about one hour waiting in line at the bank to make a payment.
Yesterday 30 minutes of my life were spent on being in line at the supermarket. On the plus-side I met someone nice.
To make photocopies at my university you are required to first get in a line to say which photocopies you want. With that paper you go to another building, get in line, pay for your copies. Then, with the receipt of your payment, you go back to the first building, get in line again and wait for your copies. That I do about 1-2 times a day.
I guess all this nonsense-waiting will give me the opportunity to read a few books I wanted to read for ages :-)
