Hello Possum!

Okay, so the title is corny and I'm not a great Dame Edna fan, but it did seem apt.

This is the first ever real, live, wild possum I've seen let alone been able to blip. he was just hanging out in this tree in the parkland near the footy club and seemed quite unfazed by being the object of my interest. He refused my please to move out from behind the twigs though.

After the training session, I walked back to Lygon Street with its plethora of restaurants, primarily Italian, and shops and had a lovely lunch and then a browse around (and a little retail therapy) before heading back to the apartment... just in time to avoid the rain... definitely a good day!

It's the weekend again, and my holiday is half over already!
