Log Jam

I walked back of the house, through the woods this afternoon to get a closer look at the log jam on the neighbors bridge. Wow, impressive amount of wood here. Root wads on the left, logs/trees on the right. Lots of little debris jammed in between the larger pieces.

Edit here: The man that owns the property has to clean out log jams every year. This one is the largest I've seen though. Quite a bit of work involved.

On another note; daughter went into the hospital this morning because she had been having contractions all night long. They weren't regular but happening enough to bother/worry her. They kept her for a couple of hours and then told her to go home. It's just not time yet. Maybe Valentine's Day?
