C is for Cuddling..

...Cara in the woods.

We had a wonderful walk in the woods this morning. The weather has been great while the family have been here. Dry, a bit windy and today, sunny as well. Both Cara and Bruce love having the young company around and romped around the heather and leaf litter with them today. This blip is of Grandson No 1 who has recently been so ill. He is so much improved, although he does tire more quickly than usual. He adores both dogs but it is only Cara who allows him to give her a really good cuddle whenever he feels like it - which is often. At the end of the walk the two older boys found a tree to climb and she settled herself at the base of the tree as if keeping guard so they would be safe. The dogs are really going to miss the company when they leave on Friday - so will I.
