Empty Splendour
Dundee really does have some fine old (mainly Victorian) buildings from its time as one of the richest cities in Britain. The beautiful soft pink-tinged sandstone gives a great look, particularly in the low sunlight of late afternoon. Not sure what this uilding was originally - latterly a partly-residential education system for kids too troubled to be able to allow into mainstream schools. It's been empty for quite a long time now, sad to see such a glorious building unused. The rather unsympathetic 1970s/80s extension doesn't help, it must be said....
Off to our final ante-natal class tonight. 4 weeks tomorrow is the due date.... I promise (hold me to it) another shot of my lovely wife and Butterbean tomorrow!
