Cork Bricks

Cork Bricks is the name of a lane in the small town of Bungay, Suffolk.

Apparently, the lady of one of the houses in the lane complained about the noise of cart- and coach-wheels on the cobbles.

So her husband laid cork tiles to deaden the sound...
