Daffodils on the Roof

Blissful day today, mild and sunny, did a bit in the garden and took a slow walk around the land with Rachel and mama dog. We were looking for signs of spring and we found plenty. Lots of bluebells were pushing up amongst the bracken, the buds are swelling in the woodland, primroses and daffodils are flowering!
Last winter when Doriane and I were planting the new woodland, we planted primroses, foxgloves, bluebells and daffodils, so it's wonderful to see everything coming up!
Our other big winter project was to turf the roof of the hideaway shack, we planted many bulbs into the turf and some of these are now flowering and looking beautiful!
Eldest daughter Rosie is coming home this evening, with her friend Kitty. I have two girlfriends coming over, so we will be a full house for supper!
