Snowdrops

Saw these beautiful little snowdrops in the churchyard. (note to self: take something waterproof to kneel on in future!)

Surprisingly nice on large!

In the background you can see the St Mary Magdalene Church (Fleet, Lincs) which is quite unusual as it has a detached tower and spire - these are more commonly seen on the European continent.

The Meridian line passes through Fleet Fen (close by) and is marked by a stone on Langarygate.

Fleet, for such a small place, has a very interesting history documented back to the 11th century.
