THE LEG

As Friday afternoons for me revolve around " The Leg " I thought I had better blip the thing.

I have a leg ulcer which is being treated by having my leg wrapped in compression bandages from toes to knee. I have the dressing and bandage changed every Friday afternoon.

I can't get the bandage wet so I have a thing called a Limbo which is a plastic cover to put over my leg while I have a shower. I really miss having a lovely relaxing bath.

There are a lot of my shoes that I can't wear as my foot is too fat to fit in. Tend to wear lace up trainer type shoes which I can just about squash my foot into.

At least the new tablets I am on have lessened the pain - sometimes I even have no pain at all which is such a relief as a few weeks ago I was getting terrible pain almost constantly.

So things are more positive now on " The Leg " front.

Apart from seeing the Nurse today I have done a bit of pruning and general tidying up in the front garden. Whilst I was busy Cookie came over to keep me company. Dull day today but quite warm.
