Very good day

This is Luyanda, another awesome Gap Year Intern who won't let you go anywhere without a complex handshake and a hug for good measure. He was accepted to the University of the Western Cape last week, and hasn't stopped smiling since. In exchange for lunch at Mzoli's, he and Zingaphi took the group of Dutch girls for a real tour of the Philippi township (something I am definitely looking forward to doing in a smaller group at some point). Some of the highlights included seeing what some of the shacks look like on the inside and going to a service at Zingaphi's church, which sounded like quite an experience. When they were finished, a bunch of us drove in to meet everyone for those amazing buckets of meat I described a few weeks ago, and a few of us finished the afternoon by watching USA rout China in basketball.
