Just passing time.....

It's been one of those Saturdays where you don't have any plans or direction for the day so you just pass time spending money out of boredom....

First stop today was Homebase to pick up some new wall paper for the bathroom.... not sure how long it will lie in the bag for now though!
The plan is to get it over and done with incase I get a date for my operation, then I won't be fit enough for a while.... but I grudge giving up my weekends to decorating, so there's a good chance it wont actually get done for months!
Next stop was the shopping center, I didn't really need anything but found myself leaving with a new digital photography book(because I don't have a clue what I'm doing with a camera) and 2 CDs for the collection.... a Seasick Steve one and a Rodrigo y Gabriela one.... now they have to be a bored shoppers purchases..

The next stop was the exciting part of the day..... the tattoo parlour!!... I'm so excited to be getting more ink... I don't have a clue what I'm having done yet.
I've asked Russell to draw something up for me... I'm not big on deep and meaningful tattoos for myself.. mines are just a selection of colourful slightly old school designs.. Russell has been tattooing me for enough time for me to trust his judgement, he knows what I like and I have faith in him that he will come up with something that's just right for me... so watch this space!....it could be a few months before I have the finnished result on my skin though...

We stopped at Arthurs Seat on the way home, seeing as we were in Edinburgh anyway... I took some nice shoots of the stunning view but decided on this on of the ducks there instead...

Off to the cinema tonight, I think we're going to see Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close... bit of a gamble, not sure if it'll be good or not... but it'll pass some time anyway!
