Mending a broken heart.....

I didn't really have any plans today other than chill out.....

It just so happened that when I went to my daughters room to see her this morning I found her curled up with tears in her eyes.
It turns out that her boyfriend is so busy with his Uni studies and his placement along with his work that he is struggling to find time her, so it looks like they are going to have to call it quits... her strange working hours aren't making it easier for them either.
It's difficult to watch one of your children have their hearts broken but this isn't a problem I can help her solve, this makes my heart ache too....

Bradley was away today to band practise, they are preparing for a competition so he would be away all day.. hubby and I were probably only taking Sammy out, so I suggested she would feel better if she came with us and got some fresh air rather than stay at home alone, feeling blue.

We went to Yellow Craigs, further down the coast, it was could today but nice and sunny.By the time we had finnished our walk she was smiling and chatting and had made plans to meet her friends to go for something to eat.

So hopefully I've helped her today after all.....
