the new first class

you wouldn't believe the comfort in the new first class cabin on american airlines! right, i can't even type that without laughing...

however, this bed, situated at the marriott at heathrow has been a godsend while en route to johannesburg. i was stuck with a 12-hour layover to get a much cheaper flight, so i used a little bit of the savings to get myself some decent r&r along the journey.

weather in london this morning has been extra crappy, but it appears to be improving as i type. due back at the airport soon for the second leg (first time out of the infamous terminal 5 for me i think), and then to jozi.
