belt lift

here's a sneaky one depicting factory life today - shutters are not usually allowed to open/close everywhere for proprietary reasons, but i figure this poses little threat.

one of my favorite things in most factories is by far the belt lift - such a quick and convenient way to scale all of those stories without killing your knees. unfortunately, there's multiple ways for one to severly injure (even kill) oneself, so it's not often contractors are allowed to ride. this was no exception here for me this week.

with any luck, i am finishing early tomorrow, and then back to chicago in time to actually enjoy a nice summer night out. fingers crossed!
