Old Town Doors for Art 2

I blipped the Fado door earlier in my stay. This extremely ornate and sculptured piece is one of the oddest and most dramatic of the doors in the Funchal Old Town art project.

Everywhere in Funchal has been extraordinarily quiet today. Hung over after the late night of the Big Carnival Parade ? Or maybe suffering from the financial concerns hitting all parts of Portugal ?

As a footnote : these photos weren't taken with an iPhone or iPad. I've brought my iPad2 with me (thanks to all the blippers who offered advice and help). I have my Canon 400d and my TZ5 with me and I upload the photos using the camera attachment. Yesterday's and today's were taken with the TZ5.
