Fugly blanket

Decided to change OH's cushion to a blanket, which involves picking up a lot is stitches and knitting it in the round. It's also an excuse to use up all the chunky wool (which helps me diminish the stash), but does mean it will be a bit fugly as no colours go together and I'm making up the pattern as I go.

Today was the perfect day to be knitting this, everyone was in need of a lazy day and it was raining outside. This is almost at the end of the red ball. I'm not quite sure the mitred corner is going well (I need to remember to do the increases), but it doesn't look too bad for a fugly blanket.

Tomorrow promises to be more adventurous, may even take the camera.
