View from a hill
Today was elder T's birthday treat as I don't think a children's bowling party and sleep-over was his ideal choice of birthday celebration.
We went to our old haunting ground of Muswell Hill, Ally Pally and Highgate. It was fun going around all the old shops and enjoying the odd coffee (or 2). Even the children seemed to enjoy it and smaller T was fascinated when we passed old flats we used to live in. It did seem odd that despite going into the city, we spent most of our day out in woods and parklands. Hopefully it won't take another 10 years for a return visit. This is a view from Ally Pally looking out over London.
Tonight is full of planning for the return to school tomorrow, slightly panicking as I'm on school run duty which is unusual. I wonder what I'll forget.
