Whooper Swans

Loch Leven National Nature Reserve today, for a walk along the heritage trail we helped fund through work. I hadn't been to Loch Leven for a long time, and started at the RSPB's Vane Farm, which is where I watched these Whooper Swans from one of the hides.

I walked from there anti-clockwise round the Loch to Kinross. It's a good path and it's level; hence the number of cyclists. I am looking forward to the second phase of the project which will add the stretch round the western edge of the Loch. Then you'll be able to walk right round the entire circumference.
