Happy Big Birthday Mum!

It was phone calls home this morning to catch up on the birthday news and hear all about the party yesterday. They'd had a great time and eaten copious amounts of cake by the sounds of it!

On our walk along The Drive this morning we came across this car. It proudly displayed a sign declaring 'Look and touch, I don't give a monkeys'.* Perhaps even more bizarre was the party going on in the adjacent restaurant, which by all accounts looked like a dog's birthday party! There were huge boards introducing each of the canine friends at the entrance (the place was packed with people), and all along the bar were propped up framed photos of dogs. It was quite a posh pizza restaurant, just the oddest thing to come across on our way up to Safeway!
