Railay Beach, Krabi, Thailand, 20/2/12

Got up sharpish (07:15 hrs) got boat to Railay beach. Beautiful. Warm clear water, spectacular scenery, and wery wery hot sun thingy. Factor 25 worn but really started to feel the burn by 11:30 so got the boat back to Ao Nang / hotel pool & shade.

Decided to dine Al Risko tonight. From a pavement Hawker's stall we had 2 baked tatties, grilled Tilapia, whole sweet corn, and Rat Chicken, so called because it resembles a flattened rat. All bloody wonderfully tasty. Tatties & corn in particular tasted as they used to, BT (Before Tesco.)

Just finishing these delights when the heavens were rent asunder by the most spectacular lightning show followed by torrential warm rain. Soaked to the skin in seconds. Saves showering.
