Krabi Lights
Ao Nang, where we are staying, is in Krabi District, and unsurprisingly it's main town is Krabi, which stands on the . . .yes, that's right, the River Krabi. Well, we went there this morning by TucTuc, and found it to be an exceedingly utilitarian town, with nothing really to recommend it. It has, however the most peculiar traffic lights. Well not the lights themselves which are the standard red/amber/green and which are largely ignored, but the Neanderthal guys that are carrying them at this junction.
Not sure what the association might be, but wonder what our city fathers might use if similarly motivated. Old Firm supporters? ;-0
No ill effects from last night's dining, so we are tempting fate again tonight. Catfish on a stick for starters anyone?
