Japanese Anemones - dried seed heads
While we have some colour coming through, there are a few snowdrops and the hellebores are at their beautiful best, I think the more interesting plants in our garden are the dried remains of last year's glory. I am sure if we were tidy gardeners these would have chopped down and tidied away long ago. As it is they give height to the border, movement as they sway in the wind and provide and almost unearthly structure to photograph.
