backpacking...

...am off for the long awaited trekking trip tomorrow evening. Things are not looking very good from a comfort point of view. Then again, trekking is not about comfort. We plan to summit two peaks and trek through a pass in between. In the pass, we have to cross a river about thrice and according to the latest news from the site, the river has been flowing pretty strong lately. but again, if it doesnt rain badly over the next couple of days, we should be good. We are carrying ropes and other adventure gear to be on the safer side.
so misson Ratangad(4300 ft) and Harishchandragad(4671 ft). This is in the hills of western India. We have 3 groups coming from South and West India for the trek - about 30 in all!!! I am excited :-)

camera problem solved for the time being. I am carrying Sony Cybershot DSC W90 since it will fit into my trousers pocket.

Dont think I will get time to click (let alone blip) tomorrow. So it will be a bunch of backblips once I return on Monday.
