Gllasgow School of Art - demolition!

Visited Glasgow School of Art today to see their latest exhibition ( disappointing!) but I was very impressed with all the building going on.


The former Design Studios, 1960s buildings which no longer meet the needs of a 21st century art college, are being demolished.

In their place will rise a utopian all glass piece of architecture to compliment the Rennie Macintosh art college opposite.



Not surprisingly the design has been the subject of some controversy.

But I think it will be a brilliant addition to the city's architecture.
