Sometimes contemporary art can be so inaccessible you feel that only those with a degree in Fine Art can understand where it is coming from.

But this striking installation by Val Shatwell works both on an aesthetic and conceptual level.

It draws attention to the illegal trade in elephant ivory which threatens the future of our largest land mammal.


It forms part of the current exhibition "Criminal" in the Changing Room gallery, Stirling by the Hanging Together group of artists.
