Happy Birthday to me!

Today was the day for a big clean up at our church, a day for doing the cleaning and polishing the custodian can't get to on a weekly basis. Bob and I signed up to help on the clean up crew, and I spent the day helping to polish the pews and other woodwork in the building. It's a big church with lots of lovely (dark) woodwork, and we worked for hours. By the time we were done, my hands were permeated with Liquid Gold wood cleaner.

As it happens, today is also my birthday, so I ordered a cake to share with the rest of the clean up crew during our lunch break. Today's blip shows me with my birthday cake. Tonight I am exhausted, but it has been a very good day.
