Beckoning bench

We actually got a few hours respite from the monsoon weather, and parts of the afternoon were actually quite pleasant. I wasn't the only one who decided to go for a stroll around that old reliable spot of mine, St Anne's Park.

This pair with the buggy certainly looked as if they were eyeing the bench as a spot for sneaky sit-down after all their strolling efforts. Back home afterwards, the clouds built up as time went by, the rain came again, and it's still damp and dismal outside. I was lucky to get even this short breath of fresh air and still remain dry.

The forecast is for still more rain to come. Will it ever end?!
