and so the fascination with Trees (dead and living) continue...
Yes, for some reason, I am visually and emotionally drawn to dead trees. I don't know exactly why but I am. Maybe i'm just plain weird. Lol.
I've been looking at this dead (burnt) tree for almost a year now and I promised myself that one day i'll take a photo of it. You're probably wondering why the delay? This tree is on the side of a 100 km zone motorway which is used by heaps of massive trucks and cars during the day. There is a shoulder I could use but it's a pain not to mention slightly scary (for me) to get back onto the motorway! (I have a 1.5Li manual car so you can imagine how slow it can be to accelerate!)
Anyway, today I decided was D day! Good thing it only took me about 10-15 mins of waiting for that BIG gap to get back onto the motorway! If I was unlucky I probably would have had to wait muuuuch longer!
I have a few more dead trees that i'm itching to photograph but quite a challenge to get to coz most of them are on the side of this same motorway! Maybe it's time to buy a sports car........ I wish, I can't even afford to buy that lens let alone a new car! Lol.
I hope everyone is having (had) a good start to their week! :)
The sunset today was a ripper! Here's a closer shot of the tree with a different treatment. Changed my mind about which image to blip so here's the other shot. :)
PS. Thanks again for the upgrade. I'm having loads of fun with the new filters! Weeee!!! :)
